These details help us sort things out quickly:

  • Game version: shown in small text at the foot of the game's Settings (for example "Tidy Wilds 1.1.0 · build …").
  • Device and operating system: for example "Pixel 8, Android 15" or "iPhone 13, iOS 18.2".
  • Player ID: in the game, open Settings and find Your player ID under Your data. Tap the copy button and paste the full ID into your email. Please include it for anything about trees, progress or privacy, and only ever send it to us.

Please don't send passwords or payment card details. We will never ask for them.

Purchase issue

Paid for something that didn't arrive, or lost a one-time item? First try Settings > Restore purchases in the game. If that doesn't fix it, tell us:

  • What you bought and when
  • The store receipt reference: the Apple order ID from your Apple receipt email, or the Google order number (starts with "GPA.") from your Google Play receipt
  • Your device and operating system

Refunds are handled by the store you paid: Apple: Report a Problem or Google Play refunds. Your consumer rights are explained in our terms.

Progress or save issue

Tidy Wilds has no accounts: your progress is saved on your device, and in your Game Center or Google Play Games cloud save if you are signed in (see the questions below). We can't restore lost progress from our side, but we can help work out what happened.

  • What you lost (level, stars, acorns, trees)
  • Whether you changed phone, reinstalled, or cleared the app's data
  • Game version, device and operating system
  • Your player ID (Settings > Your player ID, tap copy)

Quick answers

When is Tidy Wilds coming out?

It's still in development. It comes first to the App Store for iPhone and iPad, with Android to follow on Google Play. The store links will appear on the home page when it launches.

Do I have to pay for real trees?

No, you never have to. World trees are funded by the developer from the game's income. From level 12 you can also grow up to 5 Tree Seeds, bought with acorns you can earn by playing: each one grown for 7 care days plants one more real tree. Separately, the shop has an optional Golden Seed, a paid game item for your Seed Garden; for each one sold we plant one more real tree, but nothing in the game needs it. See how the real trees work.

Why does my tree say "waiting" or "booked"?

Trees are ordered and paid for from a monthly budget. If the month's budget has been used, earned trees wait in order for the next one and show as “Earned: waiting to be ordered”. "Booked" means the tree is in the next order. An ordered tree shows as planted once our planting partner confirms it is in the ground, after the project’s next planting season.

I'm a parent. How do I control purchases?

For players under 16, or who didn't give an age, a grown-up has to answer a short question in the game before any purchase with real money, before a web page opens and before a picture is shared. For the strongest control, use your phone's own family settings, which ask you to approve every purchase: Ask to Buy on iPhone and iPad, or purchase approvals on Google Play. You can also turn off in-app purchases in Screen Time or Family Link.

Can I move my progress to a new phone?

Yes, if both phones are signed in to the same Game Center (iPhone and iPad) or Google Play Games account: the game keeps a cloud save there, and a new phone with less progress asks whether to load it. You can turn cloud save off, or load from the cloud, in Settings > Cloud save. There are no Tidy Wilds accounts. On Android, your phone's own backup may also bring your game across, and one-time purchases can always be recovered with Restore purchases.
